Main Functions:
Job Holder Accountable For
CASH COLLECTION
Daily follow-up with all stations across the region for outstanding COD amount.
Prepare a comprehensive collection report showing all BRV made and cash deposits through Bank Deposit Slips collected via Whatsapp or any other means from the station for verification of deposit.
- Monitor the position of CN delivered but not received by the company.
- Ensure strong coordination with Finance departments at Head Office on any incident that happens within the network which exposes the risk of cash loss or fraud or misuse of cash.
- Ensure all precautions have been taken for risk mitigation of cash kept in safe and during transit to the bank.
- Ensure to follow SOPs given from Head Office and Insurance company for risk mitigation
- Vigilantly follow up with the station for their weekly petty cash claim and ensure COD cash is not used for any administrative or operational purposes.
- All cash collected at the station must be delivered and reconciled with the Head Office COD lead at the end of the day.
- Petty Cash Matters
- Keeping a record of all the cash issued versus expenses claimed
- Verification of petty cash claim against expenses for all stations across the Regions
- Make payment of all allowed expenses at station level including other general expenses payment as and when required.
- Agency Dealing
- Deals with all governmental agencies.
- Supervise Regional Admin personnel with PESSI and Labor officer along with Administration for better resolution
- Supervise Regional Admin personnel in dealing with other town or municipal advertising tax-related issues in the region Audits
- Assist audit team in conducting a periodic audit at station level
- Conduct post audits on the recommendation of the audit team and provides reports.
- Contingency planning
- Travel if required and act as a station finance controller in case any emergency arises at the station level.
Essential:
• Working knowledge of accounting software
• Excellent computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft excel
• Good analytical and reporting skills
• High level of English, both written and spoken
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to travel within the region
Desirable:
• Strong ability to be able to manage and priorities multiple tasks
• Experience in developing strong Financial controls
• Good attention to detail
