| Job Description: |
We are looking for a motivated professional with strong skills in Embedded Software Development, a good understanding of Software Architecture and problem solving skills. The primary responsibility of the firmware engineer will be developing intelligent firmware for various hardware boards.
Skills:
Required experience/skill:
- Extensive experience in C or C++ required, experience with both preferred but not required.
- 2+ years of proven experience with firmware development for embedded devices
- Deep experience with in-circuit debugging tools
- Strong background with mathematical functions
- Strong OOP concepts
- Exposure to development with bluetooth functionality a big plus.
- Proficiency in one architecture assembly language
- Patience and ability to understand documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience developing embedded products in C/C++
- Experience with RF networking technologies including WiFi, Bluetooth/BLE.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and support Firmware for embedded systems
- Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Coding, Testing, and Release).
- Develop, test, and support different algorithms for ARM processors.
- Resolve / troubleshoot difficult hardware / software compatibility problems.
- Develop supporting engineering documentation.
