| Job Description: |
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of test plans to ensure systems requirements are met.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Work on creating Test Environment and executing Test Plans.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Write detailed reports understandable to both technical and non-technical team members and clients covering relevant work products, for example, QA plans, strategies, defects, problem descriptions, and status reports.
- Develop and execute system and regression level testing scenarios.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Report the identified problems in an effective and efficient manner.
- High level of attention-to-detail to ensure testing at all limits of system specifications.
- Work in a fast-paced Project Team environment.
- Conducting R&D for emerging QA standards and frameworks
- Multiple project execution
- Good understanding and experience in Software quality assurance and Software Testing processes.
- Familiarity with Test plans and Test cases.
- Performing automated Performance/Stability testing and collecting the benchmarking metrics.
- Bug reporting and tracking.
- Analyzing and generating test data.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Overall 2 year experience in QA and minimum 1 year experience in automation testing
- Sound Software Engineering skills and practices.
- Excellent communication and language skills in English and good inter-personal skills.
- Understanding of Automated Testing.
- Understanding of Testing Strategies and Techniques.
- Understanding of Programming Concepts.
- Immaculate Analytical skills assisting in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Self motivated, having a passion for learning.
- Experience of both web-based and desktop application testing.
- Black Box, White Box, Integration, Regression, Software Stress and Module Testing skills
- Maintaining Automated Test Scripts
- Good analytical skills and should think out of the box
- Should have knowledge of STLC & SDLC
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with on AWS device farm testing
- Hands-on experience with API testing
- Good knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Be able to work well with others and foster a positive environment
