The GSS Intertrade is looking to recruit an Operations Manager for Subway and Pizza Originale in Jhelum. You will be responsible for planning and directing both restaurants operation to improve productivity and efficiency. Ensuring that a robust and fault-tolerant operations is in place to sustain operations is necessary. The role requires a strong combination of exceptional leadership, a passion for hospitality and excellent focus to maximise sales and drive profitability. Ideally, the candidate who can further develop brand identity and have a comprehensive understanding of hospitality management. Prior experience of supervising/managing a team is also required.
Responsibilities
-Responsible for the day- to- day operations and managing staff
-Manage expense reports, vouchers, and process payment requests
-Responsible for the regular maintenance of a complete, transparent and detailed list of assets
-Develop short and long-term restaurant sales objectives. Monitor achievement of such objectives and prepare status reports
-Coordinates restaurant Operations to ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction and efficient operation
-Review sales and activity reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and improvement
- Analyse the Weekly Sales & Inventory Report
-Coordinate with the Head of office to identify the need, determine cost and plan restaurants support services, including procurement, accounts, human resources and administrative services
-Investigate and handle complaints, disturbances, emergencies, etc. during shift and report any maintenance problems, safety hazards and accidents
- Identifying staff learning needs and assisting with development
-Ensure all staff members are on time, in uniform, and take their break during the allotted time period ensuring areas maintain coverage
-Establish and maintain standards for staff performance and customer service
-Ensure that GSS standard procedures in terms of stock requests, and inventories are in place for stock management of all goods stored
-Manage promotional offers
-General Restaurant Standards Check cleanliness of the restaurant ensuring it is well presented
- To ensure that all food is prepared with due care and attention
-Overall management and responsibility of Sandwich Artists and Helpers to ensure they are performing to required standards
-Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Education
-Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent education
-Experience
-Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Hotel / restaurant operations and a minimum of 2 years in a management position with significant administrative responsibilities
Skills:
- Ability to apply superb attention to detail and consistently produce timely and error-free work
-Ability to consistently apply good judgment in problem-solving and decision making
-Knowledge of basic accounting principles
-Strong ability to prioritize work and multi-task to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-Strong management, communication and organizational skills
-Practical and applicable knowledge of current Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team
-Fluency in English (written and oral communication) required
-Very good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and eagerness to organize information via Excel a must
-Ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethical standards at all times
