We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our Lahore office. As an integral member of our finance local and overseas team, you will play a key role in managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring financial accuracy and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations.


• Process invoices, payments, and maintain accounts payable/receivable ledgers.


• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.


• Create month-end accounting entries and reconcile discrepancies with the general ledger.


• Ensure timely closing of monthly and yearly financial statements.


• Prepare financial reports, summaries, and analyze variances.


• Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.


• Assist the Financial Manager and other team members to successfully executing various accounting tasks.


• Perform other duties as assigned to meet organizational needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance, ACCA


• 3 to 5 years of experience preferred with an international English company in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.


• The capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team


• Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.


• Strong English communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.


• Accounting / Finance experience working for an Overseas English Company is a big advantage


• Experience working with Sage Accounting Software would be a distinct advantage in applying for this role.


• Knowledge of U.K VAT and taxation would be an advantage
